hey all…

been a busy start to ‘04, but we’ve been lucky to take (and make) a little time for fun, too. jon, lisa, nathan and marina were here last weekend, and the highlight was a sled outing to balto-seppala park (over by jon and lisa’s house on scarlett).

cheri took some great pictures and digital movies with her new camera…i got a few, too, with mine. attached here is what would qualify for a covershot on “sled-shredder weekly”…pretty amazing shot of jon going off a jump at balto-seppala…

it was a fun weekend all around, and we’re sure looking forward to the burpee-wedin return to anchorage (this summer, we hope!). i’m going to upload a few sledding pics and movies to our ftp site…anyone interested in those can go to: http://www.eye-cue.com/john/

all for now. we went downtown for rondy yesterday and had a great time, including a couple hours at the carnival…did the rides and the midway up pretty good, and it was almost like the state fair (40+ degrees!).

three weeks till we’re wheels up for maui. looking forward to it, but if this weather holds, the “get-out-of-the-cold” urgency may be moot. well, almost…
