Happy New Year from Fairbanks
We had a nice little New Years Eve, it was over by 10pm. We went to the fireworks at UAF with friends. Marina liked the lights but thought the bangs were scary. Nathan and his friend Connor liked the lights and booms. We then went to the UAF museum which Nathan loves. This also let the traffic disapate. I don’t think there was much else happening in Fairbanks last night. It was a mad house. We still made it home by 9:30 with time for venison pepperoni, crackers and sparkling cider. Happy New Year!!!
We had a great Christmas. We made it down to Homer, we got to see Isaac, Mandi and Ben on Christmas Day and have a wonderful holiday with my parents and brothers. The only thing missing was Jon. Hopefully next year Jon will have Christmas off.

lisa…hey, that sounds fun. cheri and i both had to work on the 31st, so we decided to take in “return of the king” on new years eve…turn out to be the perfect way to end ‘03 and commence ‘04. great movie, and a fun way for the four of us to put a nice exclamation point on ‘03. we’re working on a maui trip over spring break…lot of dates are sold out, but we should be able to wrangle something…since jake can’t afford to miss more than a couple days of school, sam and i may head over a few days early.
happy new years! more soon, love, dad
