Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello Everyone:
Will probably be on the road on Thursday and busy Wednesday night, so thought I’d drop a post tonightWe are going to Ben and Jessica’s for Thanksgiving dinner, if the weather will allow. I remember once many years ago heading out from Soldotna on a snowy Thanksgiving morning and making it a mile or so out of town when we just couldn’t push any more snow with the bumper, so we returned home and called Anchorage to tell Jack and the girls that we just couldn’t make it. Let’s hope we can make it, as we are not thawing a turkey here at home! Looking fwd to catching up with everyone down there. I did sort of contact Tim….he was sick and didn’t come to the phone (I had called his landlady’s phone as his is still disconnected). but I did have a good visit with Joe. Tim has been to the doctor and hopefully figuring out what’s up, but Joe said he’d been short of breath and not feeling well. I’ll try calling again in the next couple of days. Good news…..you already know that Isaac and Mandi will be in Seattle and then Portland for the get-together and now I’m happy to report that Ben will be coming, too. He arrives in Seattle Wednesday evening and flies out Sunday night. Jessica can’t come this year, as the new job has her tied down. Can someone e-mail Jeanne’s phone number to me? Is she on the web? All for tonight….all of you have a great Thanksgiving…be missing you. Love, Pete

I remember that Thanksgiving — weren’t we headed up to the Great Alaska Shootout? Mandi and I are going to Philadelphia to meet some friends and watch the parade for Thanksgiving. I’m looking forward to seeing you all next week!
