just wanted to send a note to all of the blog-timid folk out there. saddle up and climb onto the horse, blogging is fun, possibly addictive; but if you start small with wedin.org, you can monitor your blogging activities (and so can we!).
isaac and i will be in seattle the week of the wedin family event, so we are hoping to make it to portland. hopefully we will see you all there. -mandi.
hey all…quick lake park update…been awhile since i org’d it up. cheri’s day surgery went well, jake and sam are doing great in school and eye cue is still in 5th gear (and i’m not complaining!).
really enjoyed the new pics from fairbanks. looks like you all had a great time! i’ve got the pic situation sorted out on my computer…was jammed up with those 5 mp’s! anyhow, we’ll get a movie loaded up soon for nathan. we’re having “family night” now a few times a week…really fun, and that might be a good F.N. project.
can’t believe the sox AND cubs failed to make the series. geez…

The new photo album was a very pleasant surprise this morning. I wasn’t sure the site could get much better, but the album is a major upgrade! Talked to Markay this afternoon, and she had visited the site since the album was installed. She really enjoyed the pictures a lot, and commented on a number of them…a great example of how the site is a great way to catch up and see how everyone is doing.
Heard that the Christmas gathering is on the 6th, so it may be pretty tough for us to make that. Actually, for us, the 20th was a longshot, too. Our next trip down will probably be in late spring (Cheri mentioned Jake’s birthday as a possibility), or early summer…sure would be fun to get a group down there together for a Mariners game!

Hi All:
Been checking the .org morning and night and it seems that since Debra posted the fish picture there has been a void. We have been just working. We did talk to Mary P. last night and she had bronchitus, so didn’t get much news out of her. Sarah is home again, PC sounded good, and it seems like things are okay there. We were checking on sending a box of fish down, as the freezer is stuffed. Found out Deb now has a freezer, too, so will send her one too. I am trying to fish on the weekends, except this weekend we are going to Fairbanks to see Lisa, Jon, Nathan and Marina….will be great fun and we are hoping to fly all the way, so it will be FUN too. Didn’t want to drive two days to visit one! Tomorrow I am hauling the crew from the Boatyard and myself (that’s where I’m working now) to Seldovia to shrink-wrap three generators that they are moth-balling. That is what I do at the boatyard….shrink-wrap boats. It’s a fun job, I guess, and easier than what I did last Fall. Just gotta fill in the time between fishing seasons. All for now. I owe some of you e-mails, and I will get around to that soon. Love to all….Pete
