Fun Site

I am enjoying this site immensely. I check it out almost daily. Lucky for everyone that I don’t post daily. I will finds some more good pics.

    Lisa…Ditto! I’m looking forward to some more pics. I’ve got one of most of the cousins on a log at the beach in grayland (remember that?)…it’s a classic, and i’ll see if i can find it.

    Maybe Isaac could authorize mpeg’s on the site at some point (say one at a time, 30 seconds max )…would sure be fun to actually see and HEAR from others in the family. If we needed more bandwidth for that, we could each pitch in a little to cover that, eh?

    More soon. Heard it was SEVENTY-TWO in Fairbanks yesterday! Wow…that’s really something for October. We had record high temps here in Anchorage, too. Makes you wonder about going to Hawaii…heck, Hawaii’s coming to us! Love, Dad

    No fair, it’s 56 here now! Overnight it’s supposed to get down to 43…frost can’t be far behind.

    How large would these MPEGs be? If they’re only like 500k each I don’t see a problem, but if they’re a few megs we’ll hit our storage limit in a hurry. The impact on our bandwidth quota would depend on how many people downloaded them. Might be best to store them externally and link to them from wedin.org — I’ve obviously got no problem with that.

    Hi, I like the site too. Have been sick for the past few days but am recovering, and will definitely look for some great photos for the site. I learned alot about size at work the other day…the boss asked me to email some photos to a friend, it clogged up my outbox and I had to get a professional in to delete the folder. He was greatly amused to find out the size of file we were trying to send, it would have taken Don’s (former if he had received it) friend 3 hours to receive it with dsl! Anyway, thanks for listening. Pete has a charter today, wish him luck!

    Turns out there was FROST here last night! I’m hoping this doesn’t affect the farmer’s markets this weekend — I want some more peaches. Just when I was starting to enjoy 80 degrees…
