Chat no more
I noticed that our new host doesn’t allow chat applications, possibly part of the reason for the improved reliability. So, rule-follower that I am, I’ve removed the chat application from the site. Sorry!
Does anyone have a suggestion for a replacement? How about an instant messenger, like ICQ, AIM, etc.? I think most of them have integrated chat. They’ll definitely work more smoothly than a web-based chat.
In other news, I’ve installed a new wiki and removed the old one. There were some old images there — I’ll re-post any that look interesting.

isaac…
sorry to see the chat feature go away, but we can access other resources for that in the future if we wanted to have an on-line reunion, right? either way, if you like the new host better, the chat feature is certainly one thing we can live without at this point. jack

Here’s another possible replacement: an email list-serv. I’ve set one up with the address family@wedin.org. When an email is sent to that address, it’s forwarded to all of the list subscribers. I’m the only subscriber right now — pretty boring talking to myself. So, if you’d like to join send a blank email to family-subscribe@wedin.org. You’ll receive a confirmation email — reply to that and you’re subscribed.
