Animals all around

We are having an animal filled fall. We are watching a friends gigantic dog for a week. A guy at Jon’s work is moving to Hawaii and gave Nathan a hamster and we may have parakeets coming too. Topping off all the new animals is a American Racing pigeon that the dogs cornered in the back yard. I found out from the band on its leg that it was hatched in 98 in Oklahoma. It is now nursing an injured wing in a dog kennel in the garage. We may soon be openning a petting zoo. Hopefully I will post pictures of our menagerie soon.

  Lisa. Given the rain-laden “pineapple express” that’s blowing through here (and there, too, eh?), it sounds like your next step should be to build an ark…or, announce the opening of the new Bridget Avenue Petting Zoo. Ha! l, Dad

  Luckily for us we have hardly had ay precipitation, just abnormally warm temps. It is supposed to reach 70 today. It has been easily getting into the 60′s. We are back to Tshirt and shorts weather. I am sure the weather will change soon with a couple feet of snow and sub-zero temps. We are enjoying it while we can.
