If I had my way, you would be basking in the sun somewhere alot warmer than Alaska, but rest assured that the warmth of the love of your admirers will keep you toasty. Looking forward to many more birthdays with you! Am hoping others will add photos of their favorites with you.
Some Snow Shots from Wounded-Knee

There was a request for “snow” pictures and we had some, but they hardly tell the whole story. I will try to gather others as the storm progresses, but with jury duty and white-outs, it’s hard. Here are some from our “local” area, though. Most of you will recognize the landmarks. The Minnesota gang might like the drift that formed between the summer truck and their Ford Contour. Ben will like the fact that most of the snow blew off of the travel trailer. The Capt. Pete sign is a classic and has been a fixture in our lives since 1997. Notice the surf behind Debra in the deck photo….it has been unusually stormy and surfy here and has serenaded us most nights. If you like a stormy scene observed behind the safety and warmth of thermopane, our place has been the “place to be”. We are so thankful that we bought a new woodstove and that we have plenty of wood to burn. Anyhow, it’s a real winter scene here, but we all know it can turn to a slush-cup within hours! We will be standing by on Skype and Facetime on Sunday for Debra’s 60th birthday….hint, hint! Oh yeah….the “knee” photo is what my left knee looks like after stepping into an open-hatch situation of the JL the other day while working on her in the shop. Good news is that it looks alot worse than it is and am I thankful to be so lucky. The story could have been pretty sad!
Happy Birthday Jack Redoux!

I was hoping others would add some more photos, but after seeing there were NO football shots, I looked again and had neglected to include this one in the original “Happy Birthday” post. By now, that carrot cake is most likely just a fond memory and hope the first week of your 64th year has gone well.
